Got my son a new tank in his room last night
Its only a 30gal but to him its a monster<upgraded from a 10gal>.
Anyway,i told my wife to bring home a 100 watt heater from the store and it was a 100 watt Viaaqua glass heater.I put it in and turned it on,said it was completely submersible so i didnt think anything of it.Well i got home from work and just happened to look at the instructions and it said dont get the temperature controller wet!
Now its sitting in the tank and i dont know if its going to fail or cause and electric shock. Why would they say its completely submersible if you cant get the top wet?Whats your opinion leave it completely under water or unplug it and go buy another?Am i missing something here?
