Sweet BGK! Dats are nice too!

thanx, the bgk is reccoping after getting beatten by my pbass...the dats were dark cause they hadn't eatten yet...they always 'light up' during and after feedings...

this bgk is alittle over a year old and it has just reasently killed a silver aro...the aro was 4.5", but it still suprised me when i saw it...

Nice growth. Mine's being stubborn in the growth. It's a little under a year at 7" eyeballing.

I got a BGK about the same size as yours not too long ago, was just curious if you have any ideas on how to make it more active during the day? I understand they are nocturnal and Im completely happy with keeping mine that way just was wondering if you had to do anything to coax yours out? or if its just a luck of the draw..

thanx...mine eats alot of market shrimp and fishfillets...my cousin has one that is stuck at around 5-7" and all he feeds is bloodworms...then again every fish i get becomes beastly quite fast...i got a ck that i got at around 5-6" not even a year ago and it is now 18"...

i feed mine in the day...sometimes it comes out sometimes it waits till dark and gets the scraps...i don't have a cave for it in this tank, but there is good plant cover...in the main tank it hides in a wood pile or in the rocks...

He is beautiful and really healthy looking..love the plants too
