Yesterday i moved the Carpinte into a different room, away from disturbing, small hands and tiny faces which pop up out of nowhere.
The Midas aren't troubled by them (Infact they thrive on the antagonism.), but this ratbag would become real spooked. He appears to enjoy the more laidback atmosphere and when i'm in the room, spends much of his time at the glass trying to instigate a headshakin', glassbitin' session. He becomes quite aggitated when i get but a few inches from the glass. Great little cichlid.
The light, that was over his tank at the time, doesn't give an accurate dipiction of the fishes colouration. I'll have to get some more posted up later, with another light.
