Esox lucius? Really? Do you have to chill the water at least part of year? They are said to ~never accept artificial foods.

The big tank is getting to the level of a JDM kind of tank. I'd make sure you do not exceed (by much) two rules of thumb -

*** 1 cubic inch of fish per 1 gallon of tank+sump ***

*** ~500 GPH of filtration per a 3' full-bodied fish ***

Otherwise, you will have hunger strikes, food pickiness, illnesses, sudden deaths, short lifespan, etc.
