Video-making Guru needed(Windows Movie Maker help)

I'm trying to make a decent youtube video by adding text at the beginning and music of course. The "audioswap" feature on youtube really doesn't have a great list of songs I'm looking for so I thought I would try using Windows Movie Maker instead.


Here is my problem.....

The video I have, I took it with my cheap Kodak P & S camera. When I upload the video to my Kodak software from my SD card, the file type is "123.mov" Well, the Movie Maker software does not support that file type and it won't let me upload it.

Please bear with me since I'm not the most computer savvy person, but how can I change the file type on my video, or is that even possible?

Try downloading a converter program that can convert to the fromat you need. So search whatever type you need converter. Ex (.MP4 converter)
