Video- My Natives eating (including my catfish)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
is that a black crappie? i want one for my tank!!!

where in cali are you?

no, its not a crappie, i wish it was. The cat ate my plants so i am going to get some more soon.

The fish look great. Why not add driftwood or plant pots as caves so they have cover. I have Florida dollar sunfish outside they stay right by the driftwood and pots.

The sunfish eating the worm from 2:30 to :36 is real nice. What type sun?

warmouth.

I agree, some caves would be greatly appreciated by them for sure. Especially the Catfish (NICE Yellow Bullhead), he'll thank you for a cave no doubt. Also, you might try chopping up that same worm into 4 or 5 pieces with some scissors, and the pieces will be far more easy for the fish to eat. Nice looking native tank though. GOOD JOB. Are you up at Tahoe yet, or still down in the Bay? We've had a nasty cold spell lately, so the Keys might not be fishable, for a while.

i'm in the bay, but most of the keys are frozen, i am going up there during christmas, mostly for trout. The catfish had a cave, but he would never come out and would no eat and i took ot out for a while and he started eating more and would hide in the plants, i am going to get more plants.
