Boom!

Glad to see you don't do live...

Nvm, looked like the second dude was a stunned?

Either way, much safer then just dropping in a live mouse....

nice man, those are pretty big mice :P

@ rmorse, I feed pre-killed, but yeah I didn't do a good job this time :( The second guy was still kind of alive, but the pastel grabbed him perfectly so I didn't have to worry about bites.

@Jfitz, no joke haha guy at the herp shop picked out some fatties lol but honestly the pastel could use the extra girth.

When I got him he was underweight at 67grams, felt very thin (sunk in stomach) was weak, and very timid.

He wouldn't take frozen or pre-killed, so I had to give him live rat pinks for two meals, then finally he took pre-killed.

He was at 106g before this feeding, and he'll probably have quite a bit of growth with this one.

Nice man!

Last week I was in this pet store (same one I got my pixie from) and I was checking out their fish tanks. I noticed a familiar pattern behind the one, it was a loose ball python. I guess 3 had gotten out one night and they found all of them but this one. It was cool because I got to hold it while they threw together a new tank for it. I haven't held a friendly snake that didn't want to bite me in ages. They placed it in the tank and put a fuzzy mouse pup in with it and "BAM" the snake coiled around it and ate it right in front of me. I guess after being out for a month he was pretty hungry!
