I know i just posted pics of her but I can't get enough of her :). No more ammonia in the tank and she has started eating. The buenos aires tetras are also getting along very well with her. One of the mellowest devils I have ever seen.

That is a lovely fish, beautiful tank too, on a slight side note, I have a couple of Oscars, but it would be nice to see something different in the tank as well, like your tetras, they look like they work well in your tank! But would you recommend I just leave my Oscars on their own?

I am pretty positive it's a male. You can tell by the vent being more pointy backwards, than rounder and straight down

Ps. That is one of the coolest looking tanks i've seen! Is it real rock, or is it premade modules?

Good looking fish and tank I realy like the set up. Is that a school of BATs swimming around with him?

How big are the oscars and how big is the tank? Oscars in the wild are more carnivorous than red devils. I know I read somewhere that red devils although they do eat live fish in the wild, most of their protein comes from small invertebrates. I honestly don't think buenos aires tetras are a good idea but Silver dollars would work. That's what I am going to put in here and take the buenos aires tetras out.

Nice fish, I really like the setup too. Hopefully she doesn't snap on you and eat them tetra's. Those are sweet ones.

Thank you. The tetras really don't matter too me. I am going to get Silver dollars instead.

Well I took him? out to vent and the vent looked bigger than the anal spot but I could be wrong. Maybe I will post some pics later to confirm.

Thanks for the compliments on the tank! Nope that's just regular big grey rocks I found outside. I think I will still add some more. I also need to paint the back black and add driftwood but in due time.

Thanks for the compliments and yeah those are BAT from a previous setup doing quite well with the devil. I am surprised she hasn't got more of a predatory urge because I know her previous owner did feed her live goldfish more than a couple of times.

Awesome what sort of rocks are they?

I honestly don't know just some sort of rock I found in the woods behind my house. I also found red ones that i am using in my leopard gecko tanks.
