The male is just a bit over 8in and the female is 7.5 close to 8 herself. Male is from Conkel and female is F0 from cichlidsoftheamericas Dan Sharifi.
 
I notice that the male's red area got really pinkish during prespawn and still is. While the female's red is really intense but now she is displaying her black vertical bars. The male is also showing his black bars as well but not as much as the female.
 
This is him before i introduced him into the female's tank.
