They are worth every dime. They look like a giraffe cat with teeth. Pure hogs when it comes to feeding and can compete with fish 10x their size.

nah, the ray doesn't recognize them as food at all. I've seen them swim underneath and the ray don't pounce on them. The dats beat them up the first day, but now everything is cool. They seem to be doing BETTER in warm water than cold. I had them at 75 the first few days and all they did was sit on the bottom. Now I got them at 78 and they are swimming in mid water.

Even with the heavy water flow, you can hear the crunch when the perch hits the feeder
