Video on feeding my Gator Gar and others.

Update it's been 2 weeks so far with my 17" Gator Gar "Gatorade" and no problems with it's Amazonian tankmates. Gatorade has gained some girth in size as he eats alot. Had the day off today so I decided to take a video of the feeding

1 serving I feed about 32-35 Frozen market prawns with tail peeled off and 20-25 Lake Smelts. I feed them 3 times a week(every other day). These guys eat like pigs. I spend about $100 per month on Supermarket frozen seafood just to feed my 450 excluding Hikari pellet cost.

Thanks guys. Everyone's happy and growing fast. My Silver Aros have grown alot since I transfered them from the 225 into the 450 about a month ago. They were about 16"-17" but now biggest one is almost 20". Also I'm happy my Gator is eating. The saying is a hungry fish is a healthy fish.

LOL Rui, get back into monster fish already...and how about next time u come over I'll let u be the first and see if my fish can draw blood. Yo wanna go golds tmr?

nice setup and fish. where did you get that feeding apparatus? is it homemeade or can it be purchased? i'm currently using a long BBQ skewer, but i like your's. it actually grabs the food.

BBQ skewers are sharp...I would change it to the one I have. Anyhow I bought it at a big chain LFS named Pisces here but u most likely can find it at any dollar store.
