Video : pole fishing european style !

I know most US and other non european countries don't know what a pole is when we use it as a term of fishing so i dug out this video and i hope it comes of some use to many of you anglers out there who don't know.

i remember in a thread i did some time back " How to elasticate your pole " most were confused and didn't know so here's a short clip and hope it helps.

if i was fishing that area id just use my 10ft rod. 6lb test and a slip float... that simple.

when i go to korea to visit some family we usually use short pulls to catch carp. we use maybe 10ft poles to catch car, and i have to say it is much more then casting on and just reeling in a fish. i saw a man there with a huge bamboo pole, not sure how long. but when he left he had a huge bag full of carp. pole fishing is def fun, and you could make one primitive one out of bamboo and line.
