Here is the feeding video update for this week. Ash (red oscar) looks like he is getting so big so quickly now, which is odd, since he is now about 9 months old.

I am so counting the time until I can get the 240! I want it yesterday!

About 1/2 way through the video you can see blaze (parrot) and neptune (flowerhorn) have one of their little spats. It also took them longer to eat this much food than it has been taking them lately. Won't be feeding this much again I guess.

Sorry for the sunrise you can see gradually creep in toward the video's end.

Reminder on stock:
2x oscars (1 albino, 1 red)
1x blood parrot
1x juvie thai silk flowerhorn
5x clown loaches
1x pleco

This morning was

3x melted hikari cubed krill
3x melted hikari cubed blood worms
3x melted hikari cubed brine shrimp

at the end, I put in 8 large hikari cichlid gold pellets for the oscars. Those pellets are too large for anyone else to eat. Saturday's are a 'treat' day for my babies. I feed lightly and more sparsely during the week, and I treat them on Saturday. They just adore it.

Hope you enjoy.

Cheers,

Joshua

Very nice, here is some help with the video.

Intresting, it still is showing white. Wonder whats up with Youtube.

Thanks... I love spoiling my babies, since I don't have human ones. :-)

The red oscar is now at about 10". He was 9"ish in the video. They are all getting bigger.

Luckily, the 240 is supposed to be built this week. I am guessing a week to cure and test it. I am hoping by the beginning of the month I can have everyone in the new tank.

Since I am going to use existing media from the current bio filters in the sump, I am hoping the bioload will hold until the new media can get seeded along side the existing media.

I just noticed my adobe might be out of date slightly.
So y'all make sure you have all your adobe/flash/java and such and try again.
If that doesn't work I give up you can always click the link to youtube directly.
