you cant really tell in the pic but its got a thin res line at the end of the dorsal fin and nice looking spekles throughout the front side of the body

cant be as bad as my girlfriends attitude so ill cope.LOL i love how the look fullgrown.any suggestions as for tankmates? oscars, reddevil?no my girlfriend wont get in the tank.i already asked

I wouls stay with mid-agression level cichlids. With some argentea's you can put "friendly" fish, and with some you cant. I would think a jack dempsey and a LARGER oscar would be good.

LOL! I have the same issue with my Wife!

She said my tank is big enough to bury her in it.......

I said I like my tank to much to do that!

hahaha yeah, so these fish are pretty aggressive huh?like compared to a reddevil?and is it like territorial aggressiveness or just senseless brutality? hes defintely est. territory in the planted but the tetras in the tank with him are too fast i think to get messed up.hes also really small still but he has put on a good half inch in the last 3 weeks. im gonna wait till hes like 4.5" to put him in the big one
