Vieja argentea update.

Here are some update pics of the argentea I picked up from my lfs. He's about 6" long, and looked pretty beat up when I got him (he'd been sharing a tank with a red devil for a few days, apparently).

He's been in a 90g bare bottom by himself for 2 weeks now healing up. I debated about using Melafix on him, but decided not to and just let good clean water take care of it.

Looking good. I'm picking up a couple of these in a week or two when I get a new tank. Hope they look this good.

Thanks. I got lucky my lfs had this one in stock. It was obviously a trade in, as far as I know they've never gotten an argentea in before (they had it labeled argentinean ).

Hopefully he continues to heal well and the scars aren't permanent. Even if they do stay visible, he's still a gorgeous fish that I'm glad I picked up .
