When do their eyes turn blue? I have 5 at 1.5-2 inches, they all have brown eyes. Will they change color later?

There are 2 main reason for blue eyes;

1- Old; male is ~30 cm felame ~24 cm .Blue eyes will started 10-12 cm.
2- Hormonel stituation ; If you look carefully, in first pictures there is no fry, clear blue eyes appeared. Because it was flirtation period. But in last pictures too much fry and eyes turned gray-white-brown mix. Babysitter position cannot asume artistic colors . Another hormonel stituation can be observed with hierarchy effect. You have 5 argentea, they will grow and one of them will has more blue and sharp eyes. If you have another dominant CA cichlid in the same tank, you may not see any blue eye..
