vieja bocourti colors

I have 4 her. bocourti that I got in January 2010 at 1-2inches. Now my biggest one is 6inches and my smallest is 4inches.

Does anyone know at what size or age do the orange colors come in?

uh, both of mine are at 6 inches and show plenty of orange, I had an adult female about two years ago and she was a mixture of orange/ green. Post some pictures of yours if you can.

humm...makes me wonder. Mine looks just like this one: http://www.cichlids.com/pictures/pic/herichthys_bocourti-1.html, but with more brown and some black. Makes me wonder if mine are pearsie.

I dont have good lighting in the tank so I probably cant take any pics for now. I'll see what I can manage.
