Anyone have one of these guys? Not alot of info found on the web about them. I did just pick one up that is about 4".

I have two breeding pair. It's a relatively new species of cihlid that's endemic to Chiapas, Mexico. Some people think that it's a variant of Hartwegi. The photo above is a juvenile male. Great fish. Enjoy the find.

Thanks, while doing research I came across your pair that you posted on youtube. Looks as is the male is much larger then the female, also is the black on the female just breeding colors or is that her usual colors?

The black is breeding coloration. When not reeding they are simliarly colored as the male.
