So I’m noticing my vieja has a couple fins it’s not ich in 100% about that but it’s not raised at all and not on body I’ve seen it on him before he’s had on of one of his fins for as long as I’ve had him but today i noticed it’s now on his tail I’ve never been worried about it and don’t know if I should be he’s been through numerous different treatments for ich bacterial fungal infections throughout his life and it’s kinda always just been there on him and it doesn’t effect his activity eating or anything I can’t get a good picture I’ll keep trying but he’s just trying to attack my phone on the other side of the glass or something lol but it’s that dot near the top of his tail finimage.jpg

It could be a tail injury, need a better picture
That’s all I could get I’ll try to get more later but it’s not raised at all and it’s always been there but never on the tail except once and that appeared the same day I got it and while it was in quarantine tank but I’ve always just thought it might just be a part of him

If I’m looking in the right place it looks just like the result of an injury. How long have you had it?

I’ve had the fish since it was about 1” I don’t think it’s an injury I don’t have any evidence behind that there’s just a feeling telling me that it’s not something to worry about but I don’t know

Maybe something that never healed fully/a scar? Anything disease or fungal I would have expected to spread.

Yea so would I and with the amounts of treatments he’s been through in his life I’d think it was immune to everything by now cause I’m the first few months of having him he had ich near 10 times had popeye once and lived through a tank with some disease in it that left holes in the fishes body it’s amazing how he’s still alive
