Vieja community tank

Recently I've really been into vieja and wanted to know what the minimum tank size is for one with other medium to large cichlids and the minimum tank size for a vieja community tank

A solo male vieja and thorichthys group or cryptoheros, could be done in a 180 depending on the vieja spp.
Vieja Community will need a 300+ and even then it can be hard work moving individuals about till you get a workable stock.

They are some of the most beutifull and one of my favorite of cichlids . l had black belts and bifos. And bred both . great fish. Good luck

Are you interested in keeping most/ all of the genus together? The Zonatum and fenestratus are real troublemakers.
