so its zonatus then for sure? i was comparing some pictures and others seemed to have a very prominent horizontal bar with some milder vertical ones. he doesnt have the vertical, but im sure its just genetic variation. thank you for identifying this one you guys, you've been a great help

also, male/female? i would guess female, but i am completely unsure.

Agree! Im leaning more towards Zonatum but.... LOL As for sex? Grab him out with a net and flip him over to see his junk. If it appears to be V shaped thatd be a male. If it appears to be U shaped its female. Guessing Id say male..
