I believe I have all females in my 135 gallon tank and the Vieja laid eggs today. So I'm wondering if I should just remove the eggs or leave them alone? I never had a female lay eggs yet in my tank and this is the first time ever happening. I wouldn't mind, if there was a male involved, but I don't see them fertilized.

You didn't mention what kind of Vieja you have and/or their age or size. If you have a young group, it may take them a few tries to get it right. All I'm saying is, you may have a male in there, but he hasn't figured out how to get it right yet. LOL

The vieja synspilum is going to be only a year old actually and about 7 to 8 inches the most. The only male I can think of is my Jack Dempsey who is about 3 years old
