Vieja max size

Once again, flustered by the inconsistency of the intarwebs I turn to the fine people of MFK for some real world practical fish information.
I've recently become enamored with the vieja genus, and was wondering if there were any species that maxed out at less than 12"? I have an empty 55 that I'd love to stick a vieja or 2 in.

I believe Heterospilus only gets to about 8".

Heterospilus or melanurus. Melanurus top out at 12" but still I think a 12" fish deserves at least 8" extra of turning space as 55g only gives him .5". I sure you will be ok for a while though with one.

I believe female Argenteas usually stay around the 10-12" mark.

Male Hartwegi typically top off at 12"..
