A group of 4 juvie vieja, was told they are Melanura x Synspilum . But not so sure. They are around 1.5-2 inches. Definitely has one male which starts coloring up nicely, and likely 2 females. Need tank for other fish so need to find these fish a good home. $50 for all 4, or BO. Will consider trading for other fish. Thanks

Idk why they did that but mine melanura for sure don't look like a syn.

both are same , but fishes differ according to their collection points.
1 is the typical red head with yellow body , which they refer to as synspillum
the other is orangish like yours which they call melanura
but they are exactly same species.
