Can a pair of Vieja argentea be housed with other cichlids in a 180g tank?

im sure they could be. the tank is big enough. you say you have a pair so im guessing a breeding pair. if so it would be harder to find the right large cichlid to get along with the pair so instead i would go with a couple smaller cichlids that are fast and can retreat to hiding spots if need be so i would suggest a couple salvini or convicts, gramode, firemouths. something of that liking should fit the bill. the gramode would deff be meaner then the others but if your pair is pretty big then the gramode shouldnt hurt them.

I don't have any fish yet lol. I'm trying to plan. The 180g is the only tank I will have so if something goes bad I won't have anywhere to move fish out.

I have been trying to find information on breeding Vieja, but there is not much out there.

Maybe I should just get one?
