I wish I had the room for more of the Vieja complex! They are extremely intelligent fish and a joy to keep, but with the one breeding pair of pink Fennys, I almost always have a tank full of fry.
The only time I get a little more room is when I clear out the fry tank, put the male and female pink in that tank, let them mate and rear the young for a month or so, but then I have to remove them and put them back into the main tank.
By the way, anyone in Florida want some of the pink Fenestratus fry? All you need to do is come to Brevard county and take all you want
I've got about 150 or so right now.
