Awesome pics, I wish my JD would stay still long enough to catch some pics to post that were full of motion blur.

Nice, I'd like to try these guys again. Last time they ended up being much to peaceful for my tank.
really
but these guys have some crazy conspecific aggression
theres not a moment when they are not fighting

I tried with H. carpintis, A. festae, V. argentea, C. myersi, P. zonatus, and A. sp "true GT" and regani were at the bottom of the pecking rung so badly I gave them away because I thought they'd get killed.

Was ur GT Able to hold its own in that tank, bloody hell all the GTs i ever kept were out matched, every time i added them to my cichlid comm tank, nuthing way too aggressive like ur comm, but there was this red devil and this Oscar pair. even the smaller N. tetracanthus used to whip them up

The reganis right now, although keep fighting amongst themselves, once in a while the h. niloticus makes it his business to show them who's boss

Nice pictures Jib. They have colored up really well. Mine are still skittish.
Thank you prem.

Mine are also quite skittish, the 3 days i was sick i used to sit in front of their tank for almost 3-4 hrs, putting treats into the tank and gazing at them or doing something else in the tank, i think that has made them a little less skittish, a few more photo shoots and i hope they will learn to face the cam, without running away from it.
