What Vieja species do you all suggest for a single fish in a 75gal?

Please try to suggest an obtainable vieja, one that I could have a hope of finding in a LFS. I don't want to order online and have one shipped.

Thanks!

Burt:)

I don't know about your local, but around here the only ones that are somewhat available are synspilum. Good looking fish, as all vieja are, but I agree with the argentae. You can't go wrong.

i say amale and female synspilum would be good.

In a 75g? No.

Bifasciatus are usually available, as are maculicauda and even some of the less common species are often available near me, such as regani, argentea, and guttalatus

The Vieja argentae are stunning, I will keep my eye out for one.

Is there any way to tell M/F when they are small? Or if I find a source should I get a few and grow them in the 75gal until one stands out and I think its a male?

Burt :)
