Wanting to get some of these. I'm going to get small and looking for tank mates
Was looking to add Honduran red point and some nicaraguese

Any suggestions would be great plenty room going in a 300 gal

Wow!! If you stay small you can add so many, I would and small and one larger as a center/show piece. Other smalls that you could add: neet, fire mouth, Dithers. For larger Synspillum or Briedohri. I wanted to do something like that but don't want to get rid of the Cichlids that I already have, so it won't work for me, but you have 300 gallons, if you stay small you can add several cichlids and have fun watching all the excitement that they bring...

About 15 HRP's would be cool to add with your Vieja. They'll fill up the tank in no time.

agreed that would be awesome. You could do both blue and white. I have both and love them. Actually my dominant blue used to push around my synspilium.

15 hrps would look insane....i just had to rehome mine pushing around a wimpy pearsei
