Vieja synspila? (pics)

I recently purchased what was Labeled as a RedHead cichlid. But i dont think it looks like the others i have seen. Just wanting to make sure. so is this a Vieja synspila? any chance anyone can tell the sex? a couple pics with flash and without...... Also, i have read that this guys are generally peacefull for the most part, But this guy (5inchs) beats my 3 Uaru up constantly. I thought they would be compatible. thanks

I have Vieja Syn. Mine has similar colors, but I have never seen any vertical stripes on mine, he just has one horizontal stripe. Could it be a cross of viejas?

If not a redhead, then what could it be? It does have alot more blue to its face and body than the pics show. A hybrid possibly? of what?

i am not sure what type of Vieja it is (probbably a hybrid) but most vieja are going to be WAY to agro for your Uaru. they are not going to do well being bullied. you might want to move the vieja to another tank.

Ya, i agree, he is a bully, and the uaru are all hiding. I figuered it was a Redhead with lots of color. But since im not into Hybrids that much and since he is being too aggressive, i'll have to move him. I figued the redheads were gentle giants. But this guys isnt. It would be nice to have an idea of what it crossed with though.

I know basically nothing about Paratheraps species, but that looks like fenestratus or hartwegi to me.
