I bought a 5" Vieja synspila (Quetzal) on 3/4/2007. For a little over two weeks now I really have not seen him eat much of any type of food I try to feed him, if any. Is anyone familiar with the feeding habits of this cichlid? I have tried Hikari gold medium pellets, flake, frozen bloodworms and beefheart. Every time I feed him he may eat a couple of the small flakes but alot of times, nothing. I really do not worry to much about my cichlids not eating, because most of them are pigs, but I cannot figure this one out. He is in a 180 with a 10" JD, 6" Jag, 6" Texas and 5 Silver Dollars. I do not want to lose him.
Any ideas?
