Vieja Synspilum spawning

I think I have a pair of Synspilum who may spawn soon. But it seems it's mostly the female chasing the male oddly enough. She seems to be digging and protecting a large pot, but he often ends up swimming away from her and she chases him.

I think I have a pair of Synspilum who may spawn soon. But it seems it's mostly the female chasing the male oddly enough. She seems to be digging and protecting a large pot, but he often ends up swimming away from her and she chases him.

Male is 9.5" female 7". She seems to be wanting to lure him into the pot but he doesn't seem too interested in it

Yes I change 60-70% a week. And I usually do cooler water changes as well
