"vieja synspilus" is type of flowerhorn?

This fish is very pretty. First i thought it was a pure gene, but one web site said its a flowerhorn.
 
flowerhorns are hybrids; they synspilus is an actual species . . .

here's one hint: flowerhorns don't have latin names (because they are hybrids)
 
Vieja Synspilum is a pure breed, Rainbow Kings on the other hand are a mix and have alot of the Synspilum traits.
 
Thank goodness you posted your question here and got the correct answer. I find it funny they think the red head is a hybrid.
