the other day i noticed that my largest fenestratus and synspilum were diggin a pit behind my driftwood together, kinda got me thinking that they might be paired up.... well i came home this arvo after work and fed the fish as usual but noticed my fenestratus was hangin round the back of the driftwood, took me a second to see em but she's laid eggs on it... anyone know how long they will take to hatch.. or if anyone had had these two pair up before?? will post pics asap :)

looking forward t the pics, can you post some of the parents with the eggs? i think its takes around 3-5 days to hatch and then about the same to reach free swimming.

no worries can do, pics wont be till tomorrow as im flat out until then, the female has lost most of her colour compared to the last week or so...

here some pics of mum and dad and some eggs... ... her colour had been beautiful last couple of weeks redy pinkish face with red tips on her fins with a blue sheen on her face and body... not since she's popped the eggs out though :(
