vieja zonatum & P.Niger (prehistoric cat) + silver dollars?

Hi guys - i mostly lurk here, but i'm faced with an important decision, and figured i'd ask your help.

My zonatum is pretty much outgrown his 55G tank, at 10.5"

I have a much larger tank (custom 7' in-wall) that i could put him in, and move around some of the other fish that would be obvious snacks. The catch (har har) is that i CANNOT move a 13" P.Niger or a flock of 6 silver dollars, ranging from 6 to 7.5" round, because they too would be too small for the 55g (its a 55 "tall" so it's taller and deeper than a standard 55, but not nearly wide enough)

So i'm faced with either moving him, and hoping they'll all be relatively okay together, or i'll have to start getting rid of some fish.

Not familiar with those fish ...
but I keep on hand a plastic grid for a drop ceiling fluorescent light fixture to use as a divider.

It might buy you a little time until you can decide how they will act with each other.

Zonatum are aggressive, but really only to conspecific fish. It should have no problem with the other fish.

I'll keep a divider on hand, just in case. If things don't work out, expect to see a few FS posts from me LOL.
