im probably getting an indoor pond soon.
and if i do,i'd like to be able to see the fish from the side too.
im thinking of cutting a squarish hole in the side of the pond,
then placing a piece of glass there to serve as a viewing window.
would epoxy hold the glass to the pond?

good idea would be to use nylon bolts to hold a piece of plexiglass to the hole, plus your epoxy/sealant.
how big a pond are we talking?

Epoxy is not going to adhere. Normally you install it like a porthole on a ship, with a frame on each side and bolts every 2" around it.

nope its a good idea, its really amazing when you can see the fish from different angles if you are going to do it, do it right.

So do we!
