Hey ppl, hope ya all doing good and so are your fishies.. i've been planning an arowana pond.. well more of a above ground tank.. more like this http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=325084 . I've been discussing with david on this and he has been very helpful.
I had planned on a tank roughly around 19'X10'X4'. Now the biggest problem is my dad.. well its his house and he has to give me the space
. he thinks its gonna be maintenance intensive in the long run.. I do agree with him. now what can i get away with.. i've asked a minimum 12'X10'X4'. now this tank will hold 4 Silver Arowanas, 1 RTC and 2 Pacu.. I had planned on putting in my 4 Oscars in there but i'm slightly terrified about my RTC thinking they are his food.. well in that case i'm praying he wont go after my aros..
I've added some pics to show the place we zeroed on..
Please let me know your views and if i can do with a 12'X10'X4' on the long run.. cheers..
