Pro Football overtime rules are so not right and depressing.

How would you make it different?

Ok people this is a really touchy topic!!!

All he had to do was hold the ball and ran out, this really makes me mad. He waits to "THE WORST POSSIABLE TIME TO THROW A INTERCEPTION", WTF!!!!

I think a 10 minute period would be good.

Do you like the way it is?

Only when my team wins :D

No matter what format is used the defense needs to set up. I think the way it is set up now is fine for regular season. I would mind seeing an additional 15 minute overtime added for playoffs, though this may take it's toll on the players.

It seems unfair that if you win the coin toss, odds are you have a 65% chance of winning the game. Possibly another scenario would be to eliminate FG attempts from the OT period.

I really don't care much for the college format either.

Yeah, you make some really good points. Maybe the "unfairness" of the coin toss is ok for the regular season. But, man, when a coin toss seems to decide a team's fate, especially in the post season, that just sucks.

I don't like the college format either, and yes, adding a whole 15 minutes extra might take a toll on the players. That is why I feel like adding a 10 minute period for overtime would be good.
