So I usually don't do much with plants, but I came up with a good idea the other day. I got tired of the black background on my tank, and I thought it would be cool to have a tressel (I think that's what it's called, you know the things that vines grow on) with vines growing on it to make a lush green background. It will not have CO2 injection, but it will have good lighting. Is this possible to do? If so, then what would be a good plant to use for this?

depends what kind ive seen done on the outside of the tank depends...

You could always use plastic knitting mats and wind java moss through it. Would probably have to get alot of moss to cover the whole backwall as its not the fastest growing plant.

It would be inside the tank

i'm sure researching compatible plants would address some problems- free floating vs rooted. i guess the next thing to do is try it. gl
