The grey one is missing the output tube to go back into the tank. Any ideas on what to use for a replacement for the round outlet tube cause input can be replaced by pvc pipe but the outlet is too small for pvc to work?

You can expand/bend pvc using a heat gun or equivalent. Needs to be done in well ventilated area, and better to use a mask. I have made all kind of custom attachment by heating pvc, if one is patient enough (don't go too fast) you can accomplish any odd shaped fit.
The thing is the inner diameter of the grey top tan bottom motors output is 1/2" of less and I can't think of any pvc pipes that are near that small that could even be changed with heat to accommodate the inner opening of that motor.
step up the diameter with hose. so a small sleeve of hose, then another sleeve of hose on that sleeve, repeated until you get the wider diameter you need. You can use the same hose diameter for each sleeve if you cut and wrap the hose. (So a C shape not complete circle).
Could also use any powerhead instead. Placed in tank to push water to filter.
