Has anyone ever kept fish in them?
I'm wanting to breed some goldfish and thought the pools were perfect size, not too big or small.

They can't rip it open can they?
Can I fill water all the way to the top?

to answer your question yes u can.... as long as the fish isnt known for jumping and goldfish really arent... what do you plan to do for filtration?

no filtration, just a constant 24/7 supply of clean cold water that will be pumped into the pool.

can i fill it up all the way though?

There are a bunch of post on here (DIY, and both pond sections about using these) do the search thing.

You can fill it all the way up but you risk the fish following the overflow and escaping.

Most Gfish don't jump, Comets are your most likely to succeed ones. Bird netting could be floated on the water.

What's you plan for pretreating the water to remove chlorine or chlorimine?

Dr Joe

.

hey dr. joe; no filter no water conditioners. just new water that flows in to the pool 24/7 from my pond. which gets fed by the ponds on the golfcourse, which gets fed by a private lake, which gets fed by a public reservoir, which gets fed by rainwater, etc.

so basically the pool is going to get clean water free of ammonia/nitrites/nitrates eliminating the need for me to do water changes.

interesting idea. I would look at those stock tanks if I were you. The cheapo pools wont wast long out in the elements.
