ok I have a 75 g sw set up I wanter bigger better lights so i can get in to sps corals and what not so that means huge VHO set up or mh but im limitied on how i can do metal halide because i cant hang them still live at home with parents really dont want to screw up the ceiling in the house but the viper clamp on lights seem very apealing any advice ?

viper clamp will work fine but u may need 2 depending of your tank dimentions.
most likely your tank is 48", these fixtures are pretty nice, no need to hang them.

i tried a pendant on my tank. it worked great but i really like having actinics on my tanks. they look so nice.

+1 to the above...MH doesnt just come in pendants.
