Wasnt sure where to put this but...
I was talking to a local bait dealer and he mentioned some new certifications he had to get in order to continue selling f/w baitfish.He mentioned viral hemorrhagic septicemia had been found in the great lakes region and hes the only one in the area who can sell baitfish in the area cause he was quick enough to get his certifications in order.
Just wanted to give a heads up cause I know alot of folks on the board feed w/c baitfish and keep natives you might want to look into it.

What are the symptoms and what does it do? I am assuming it is probably deadly and highly contageous.
