Visi-Therm Heater 300WATT????

SO I ORDERED 3 OF THESE ONE FOR A 72 BOWFRONT, 75 FW, AND A 55 FW.
IM JUST WONDERING WHAT YOUR THOUGHTS ARE ON THE WATTAGE AND THE BRAND. I ORDERED THEM FROM petmountain.com for 16.95 each so it was like 56 + change total. (thats with shipping)
they seem to work well.

You can't put a price on the safety of your fish. The wattage is fine, but spending a little more money on a better heater can save you a LOT of money in replacing cooked fish. I LOVE marineland stealth heaters... they run around $30, but they last forever and don't leak or break. Hopefully your purchase will work out well for you.

As far as stick heaters, I always went with Rena. I'm lovin the inlines now though! Gotta love not havin any equipment in the tank, ya know?
