Visible Diff between EBJD & BGJD??

Ok i was just loooking at the thread of the EBJd's mating with the BGJD. There was a picture that showed the Fry and some had black rings around them, and others had blue rings around their bodies... How is a BGJD created again? and How does this whole mating proces work again? Its amazing how to get those amazing looking EBJD, it is such a Lenghty process... Thank god they produce like 600 fry..:confused: :confused: :confused:

I know somebody has an explanation for this process to get EBJD's...Please help
 
Ill send randy an e mail with this link.Hes the one who started that thread and I actually got to meet him and see the parents and all those little fry and some juvenilles as well.So i will send him this so he can reply to explain it the best.

I beleive in helping others any way I can. I'm happy to answer what questions I can based on my experience with these beautiful and somewhat challenging Blue Dempseys over the past 3 years, and my 40+ years keeping and breeding fish. :popcorn: I've mostly kept Cichlids... and bettas and am particularly interested in getting the fish that are considered most difficult, to spawn...:crazy: :wall:

I did see that link, and that link is what got me thinking... how do you get a Blue gene JD? i havent seen any sold around where i live as Blue gene Dempseys.. How are the Blue genes created? are they the other 50% of the fry that arent Blue dempseys? im just confused:confused: :confused:
