Well went to the aquarium today. Took a few pics, they had a lot of amazing species. Not as big as soon of the aquariums down south though. It's a perfect first date place, which is what today was. The place looked amazing, the Pacu were enormous, and the Shark Ray was awesome. Also does anyone know the ID of the bird? It was one of the friendliest birds I've encountered, I put my finger out and without hesitation it climbed right on. So here they are.

What state is Newport Aquarium? That is one awesome freshwater tank.

Kentucky, That fw exhibit is all local fish from the tristate, Indiana Ohio and Kentucky.

I LOVE the Newport Aquarium! You're right, it's not nearly as large as some of the other aquariums, especially down south, but its got a lot of nice exhibits just the same. I need to make a trip up there soon, I haven't been in a couple of years.
