Brought my son to the zoo last Sunday.
Saw a section on hippo, whereby there is a see thru underwater tank, decorated with a driftwood ecology, and happened to see a pair of 14 inches Vittatus swimming pass, very very nice and exotic feel.

I find that in fact Vittatus looks nicer than GATF a few ways. the red hooked tail is one, the overall color, fatter body is another. Dem shiok!

I realised you like silverish, and predatory fishes.
How much is that dorado, can share with me? Where you get it?

Luc

Yup I do like silver type predator fish. I am more of odd ball keeper.
eg. I prefer black aro to other x back or red aro.

I am into fishes that are...
- killer teeth (That type of can bite my finger off)
- pure breed (Not man-made or x breed)
- rare fish (study behavior)
- catfish (Cute monster that love to eat)

How about you.

Thats a nice shot of the Tiger with its mouth open Tigriuns.

cool...i aint been to the zoo in a while.
time to make a trip there....
is it any good compared to a few years back?

Same as yourself, I am into silverish(sea fishes like) predatory fishes.
The odd balls I have so far are:
1) A pair of Alexandris(pacman), that time it was very rare
2) OrinoCensis, got from CF
3) Cuban Gars got from CF
4) Rhombeus and Pygocentrus Piraya
5) Veteran keeper(over 10 years) of arowanas
5) Many kinds of plecos(peru green, goldlines, xingu), L25(Sao Felix),too many
6) Goliath.

Now seeking armatus or any exostic catfishes like fowleri etc etc.:grinno:
