I have a vivarium which currently houses a Jackson chameleon, some rummy nose tetras, neon tetras, julia cory cats, and red cherry shrimp. Im looking for a fish/invert I can add which can help with the multiple drown crickets every week? Probably 5-7 of the dumber crickets end up drowning them self ever week. Anyone have any recommendations?

There is a pump under the land part which turns on once a day to drain a little water and a water level sensor which turns on a misting system whenever the water level changes. This provides water for the chameleon and water change for the fish. Im currently trying to deal with the water spots on the glass from the mist and the drown crickets.

Anything that would eat the crickets most likely would attempt to eat your fish. I personally tho only options that come to mind are frogs of some sort, turtles (will require land to eventually come out), larger fish....thats all that comes to mind

also would have to be careful if you put something like frogs as I would be surprise your chameleon attempting to make a snack out of one.

cichlids will eat crickets from the waters surface, im sure you coulkd find a species that will cohab with your stock. I have 2 guinacara stergiosi in my 120g and the other inhabitants are all peaceful like black widdow tetras and other stuff I am growing out (cigar sharks and violet blushing sharks)

Pretty sure red claw crabs need a land area, as well as brackish water to thrive...

Honestly, with that stock you maybe rather limited, and will probably need to manually remove them yourself...

Eitherway, just want to say amazing looking tank...

Ashaman great setup! How long have you had this setup? Does the chameleon ever go in the water? I tried sending you a msg it didn't work I have a 200 gallon acrylic tank was thinking of doing same thing to
