does anyone know of a device that will sound an alarm, display or shut of the power if there is a voltage leak in the tank water?

there are a few. try hitting your local hardware store. they will have one in the electrical section, just gotta find one that is water proof, and non toxic.

the problem is getting a good reference to ground for the reading to be accurate. If anyone knows the best (Accurate) way to measure voltage/amperage in water let me know. If you get a good reading it shouldnt be too hard to build an alarm with a few relays.
