Hi. It seems like my flowerhorn can't chew/swallow his food. He keeps on vomitting the pellets but then would try again to chew. Also, his gills seem to open quite a bit wide than usual. Is he okay?

He has just finished his medications for his bulging anus. I'm changing 20% of his water daily to eliminate the meds.

I used metronidazole. He's fine now. But the water is still bubbling from all the meds. I'm scared to do a 100% water change

No need for 100%. Can do 50% or even add carbon.

It should. Check and keep an eye on the poop. Try feeding food mixed with garlic or bloodworm juice.
